My husband David and I (Denise) are both qualified teachers. I also have a TESOL certificate. As a family we have been hosting and teaching foreign students very successfully for over 10 years. We live in a detached house on the edge of the village. Bourton on the Water is a beautiful little village in Gloucestershire in the Cotswolds, one of England's Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
We welcome students of all ages and nationalities. David is a Headteacher in a local Primary School and I do most of the English teaching (with some help from David when he is on holiday!)
We have three daughters. Clodagh, 21, our youngest is at university and home for holidays. Her sisters Elizabeth and Siobhan live in Dubai and Milan.
We are both interested in travel and meeting new people.
