Security Tips

Whilst we do ask for you full address details & a date of birth for our own verification purposes & filtering out bogus applications we do not disclose these to other users of our site. You should refrain from putting in to much detail about exactly who you are & where you live in the larger text fields (i.e. use firstnames only & no specific locations). This will prevent other malicious viewers from finding out too much about you. For your e-mail address please use one that you are happy to distribute to other unfamiliar people (many people set up an e-mail account on Yahoo / MSN for example).

Removing your details

If you want to remove your profile from this website you need to e-mail us with your username, firstname, lastname & Date of Birth and state that you wish to be removed from our database. Please note that initially we will only hide your details, you will still be able to log in to your account and have available all the functionality as before but your profile will not come up in the searches. However we will remove all such inactive profiles older than 6 months.

Updating your profile

Once you have filled in the required fields (marked with a *). You can submit your application. This means you can return to Xilfee, log on using your Username & Password combination, and in the account panel go to View / Update Profile and input the rest of the information.

In the same way, you can update the information in your profile.

Adding / Updating / Deleting Pictures

Log in to your Xilfee account by returning to the site. Select Log in from the menu options and input your Username & Password, indicating whether you are a student or host. Click on the Manage Photos option, and use the form to add / delete or update your photos.

Adding / Updating / Deleting Video

We provide the option to embed a video clip to your profile. You can do this by hosting a video at YouTube & copying the embed code they provide when you upload a video to them.

Then Log in to your Xilfee account by returning to the site. Select Log in from the menu options and input your Username & Password, indicating whether you are a student or host. Click on the Upload a Video option, and use the form to add / delete or update the embed code copied from YouTube.

Upgrading to a Premium Member

Log in to your Xilfee account by returning to the site. Select Log in from the menu options and input your Username & Password,indicating whether you are a student or host. Click the Premium Membership link in the menu and then click the Subscribe button. You will then be taken to the PayPal website to process your payment, before returning to our site. Xilfee will check your payment has been received before granting Premium Membership rights, however the timespan of your subscription will be calculated from the point that Premium Memebership is applied by us & not when you paid so that you get your full membership period.
