Our host families and teachers are all based in central England . They enjoy hosting and teaching English to juniors and adults and many of them have been hosting for several years.
I have personally chosen each host and have inspected each homestay to ensure that it is safe, clean and comfortable.

We are an outgoing and happy family of four ( married, two daughters of 9 and 5) who like to get to know new people and we are interested in learning about other cultures. We live in the suburbs of Cork City. Cork is only 20 minutes away and is a beautiful , vibrant young city. There is a lot to see and do in West Cork, and you can enjoy the beautiful nature, and plan your own cultural visits. Or I can accompany you if you like. When you drive into the other direction, you will find yourself on the beach, we live very close by the sea. (...)

My husband David and I (Denise) are both qualified teachers. I also have a TESOL certificate. As a family we have been hosting and teaching foreign students very successfully for over 10 years. We live in a detached house on the edge of the village. Bourton on the Water is a beautiful little village in Gloucestershire in the Cotswolds, one of England's Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
We welcome students of all ages and nationalities. David is a Headteacher in a local Primary School and I do most of the English teaching (with some help from David when he is on holiday!)

My youngest daughter Sophy is still based at home. We both have experience in teaching ESOL and I run my own business as a private tutor. I am a happy,positive,relaxed person and the house is the same! I hosted my first foreign student in 1983! I have a cat called Boo Boo and an old retired pony who lives in a stables not far away. I'm a qualified accountant and Corporate Treasurer so I tend to specialise in teaching English for Finance and Business. I also teach General English, however, often to young learners, and some of my students like to to combine English with other interests such as golf, tennis, classical music and photography.

My wife's name is Claire and she's interested in travel, gardening and swimming. We have 2 sons, Richard (13) and Jonathan (12). We all love skiing and tennis, and we have a tennis court at home. (...)

Hello! We are a family of three. Our daughter is 12 years old. I am a housewife and my husband is an accountant. We love traveling, seeing new things, meeting new people, learning about different countries and tasting different food. We enjoy going to the gym, theater, beach, cinema, parks, and going for long walks with our dogs. Some of our hobbies are gardening, cooking, photography, reading, running, playing ping pong and watching sports.

I live with my husband James and two children Jasmine and Luke, aged 5 and 6, in the ancient market town of Berkhamsted which is in the Chilterns, Hertfordshire. We are native English speakers and I am a graduate of Exeter University who has been working as a TEFL qualified host teacher for two years. James is a ski instructor as well as a keen gardener and cook, needless to say the students eat well here! I am a teacher of English, living in the beautiful Spanish city of Sevilla. I have a strong background in Business (Engineering, IT, Project Management, Training Logistics) and have also owned and run a clinic to teach children reading (Australia).
With a healthy interest in food and fitness, Sevilla is the perfect city to enjoy both. It has a wonderful 'casco antiguo', historic centre, with narrow cobbled lanes and hidden bars & cafes serving wonderful 'comida casera' (home made food). It is easy to spend several hours wandering the maze of streets, getting exercise while gazing at the beautiful architecture and local culture. (...)

I also used to work as a writer for the BBC, where a high standard of English language knowledge was essential. I lived in France for a year, and can speak French fairly well, with a good knowledge of understanding and teaching it at elementary level.
